A foxtail palm or 'foxtail' as they are referred to is a beautiful species of palm tree (Wodyetia bifurcata) that is native to northeastern Queensland.
The foxtail owes its name to the fox-tail-shaped fronds that adorn the top of its trunk. The foxtail takes about 20 years to grow to maturity, and lives for about 100 years. A foxtail will grow 30cm per year (slow-growing) to 90cm per year (fast-growing).
This web site is under construction, but if you would like to buy a mature foxtail for your next landscaping project please visit Evergreen or The Palms.
